Job description
Provide planning, and development in regards to maintaining, and improving the stability and security of the domain/network/systems. Adapt, and develop the system to accommodate the needs of a constantly evolving environment.
- Assess any needs and organize resources for hardware, software, or telephone systems.
- Maintain and support all servers, workstations, laptops, and non-leased printers, in order to sustain performance, and stability.
- Obtain outside resources as necessary to repair, replace, or remove the defective and/or warranted equipment.
- In the event of a "system crash", duties would include retrieving or facilitating means of retrieving any and all available lost data. This includes using system backups to restore the system to a designated point.
- Provide installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the software applications used by HSAA or contract the appropriate vendor for support or warranty and maintain software licensing.
- On-site support for Nortel telecommunications system
Requirements
Able to lift 50lbs.
Experience Required: 2yrs+ experience troubleshooting Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange, and the different Windows XP, 7, 8, 8.1, & 10 operating systems, Nortel phones, and networks Support a Windows Domain, Cisco hardware (firewalls/switches).
Educational Requirements: High School. Computer Technology degree or technical school preferred.
Specialized Training or Skills: Hardware knowledge required for repair and upgrade on PC based workstations and servers.
