DataStage Developer (Remote

• Design, develop, test, and maintain IBM DataStage ETL jobs supporting enterprise integrations and data pipelines.
• Support day-to-day operations of DataStage applications, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
• Enforce coding standards, naming conventions, and best practices for new and modified DataStage jobs.
• Perform job scheduling and dependency management using enterprise schedulers (e.g., IWA or equivalent).

Data Integration & Feeds:

• Create SQL views and transformations to support downstream reporting and analytics.
• Develop and support Consumer Data Feeds (CDFs) and batch integrations for internal teams, brands, and external vendors.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data delivered through ETL processes.

Platform & Production Support:

• Maintain and support the IBM DataStage platform, including job migrations, parameter management, and environmental health.
• Collaborate with platform administrators and architects on upgrades, migrations, and performance improvements.
• Participate in 24x7 production support rotations and respond to incidents as assigned.

Collaboration & Delivery:

• Partner with business stakeholders, vendors, and cross functional IT teams to deliver integration solutions.
• Provide estimates and technical input for funded projects and enhancement requests.
• Maintain work items and production changes in Azure DevOps (ADO) or equivalent lifecycle tools.

• Bachelor's degree in computer information systems, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
• Advanced experience developing and supporting IBM DataStage ETL solutions in an enterprise environment.
• Strong experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
• Proven experience troubleshooting complex ETL and batch processing issues.
• Experience supporting production systems with operational and on-call responsibilities.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities » Technical Skills:

• IBM DataStage (job design, deployment, administration support).
• ETL / ELT best practices and data integration patterns.
• SQL Server and other relational databases.
• Linux / shell scripting.
• Job scheduling tools (IWA or equivalent).
• Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD and work tracking tools.
• Data governance, data security, and compliance awareness.
