Database Engineer IV

• Design, install, maintain, and upgrade enterprise production databases to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with clients, business analysts, and developers to translate business requirements into effective database solutions.
• Monitor and analyze database performance metrics, implementing improvements and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
• Implement and test disaster recovery and high availability solutions, including clustering and replication technologies.
• Perform database security management, including user provisioning, auditing, and compliance adherence.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
• Hands-on experience supporting Oracle databases, including versions 12.1 through 19c, with expertise in RAC or ExaData/ExaCC/ExaCS environments.
• Proficiency in database installation, upgrading, migrating, patching, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Experience with Oracle OEM, RMAN backup and restore, and performance monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Shell, and PowerShell, along with Unix/Linux operating systems.
