Job description

  • Design, install, maintain, and upgrade enterprise production databases to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and resolve data flow and content issues, translating business requirements into effective database solutions.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics, implementing improvements to enhance database efficiency and stability.
  • Implement and test disaster recovery and high availability solutions, including clustering and replication technologies.
  • Perform database security management, including user provisioning, auditing, and compliance with security standards.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
  • Hands-on experience supporting Oracle databases, including versions 12.1 through 19c, with expertise in installation, migration, patching, and disaster recovery.
  • Proficiency with Oracle RAC, ExaData/ExaCC/ExaCS, and familiarity with Oracle OEM for monitoring and diagnostics.
  • Experience with backup and restore procedures using RMAN, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Shell, and PowerShell, along with Unix/Linux operating systems.
