IT Lead Data Engineer (AWS)

• Work with the Implementation team to facilitate smooth and timely data migrations
• Use creative techniques to compare data with conflicting data types and resolve issues
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to verify correct conversion completion and Effectively communicate with Project Managers
• Collaborate with the Development team to ensure vast quantities of data can be moved into the system without affecting performance
• Oversee analysis of databases with the goal of producing the initial Data Mapping /Table Mapping for the ETL Extract process
• Evaluate code/scripts to Load the data into the target database
• Involve in implementing tools, scripts, queries, or applications for accessing and analyzing data and migrating data
• Understand technical specifications for ETL processes or components; He/she needs to be able to develop/evaluate production migration steps and documentation
• Oversee IV-D data conversions
• Ensure data integrity and quality during the ingestion process, appropriately handling errors or inconsistencies.
• Design and implement data models in Redshift to support analytical queries and reporting needs for healthcare claims data.
• work with Healthcare-related EDI files load and integration into the Redshift database
• Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using SQL and SSIS to ingest healthcare data from various sources into AWS Redshift.
• Create and manage ETL packages, tables, stored procedures, views, and SQL transactions.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document programs using SQL Server and SSIS development tools.
• Create SSIS Packages for Incremental Loading and slowly changing dimensions.
• Work with application developers and provided appropriate SQL scripts using T-SQL.
• Develop SSIS ETL Packages & modified packages into a different environment (Development, Testing & Production), as ongoing requirement changes.
• Create SSIS packages for data extraction from Flat Files, Excel Files, and OLEDB Sources to SQL Server.

Education: The minimum qualification required for the performance of the above specialty occupation duties is a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or equivalent in a related field or a foreign equivalent is required closely related field with relevant experience.
