Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Cyber Coordination Specialist to join our team in the greater DMV area, supporting the Army National Guard. Responsibilities
- Track and coordinate cybersecurity tasking and workstreams across SOC, CIRT, NOC, engineering, and mission partners to maintain synchronized defensive operations.
- Review security tickets, event summaries, and operational directives; route actions to appropriate teams and maintain accurate status records.
- Monitor remediation progress for vulnerabilities, configuration changes, and STIG/RMF requirements; update tracking systems and evidence repositories.
- Organize meeting materials, capture action items, maintain communication logs, and support incident and remediation coordination across enclaves.
- Prepare routine reports, dashboards, and coordination summaries to inform operational leadership and daily situational awareness.
- Validate submission of artifacts, evidence, and data calls across work centers to meet program deadlines and compliance requirements.
- Maintain and update shared repositories, documentation, and process artifacts to support RMF/CCRI readiness and auditability.
- Facilitate cross-team communication, clarify technical requirements, and relay findings between technical and mission stakeholders.
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to coordination workflows and documentation practices.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Technical Proficiency?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * 2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years with no degree
- Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Candidate must meet ONE of the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Policy, International Relations, Cyber, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field; OR
- Relevant DoD/military training (examples: WCYBER 300; Cyber 101; NDU Cyber Strategy Course); OR
- Relevant professional certification or equivalent experience (examples: CISM, CRISC, Security+, CASP+).
- Required experience and skills:
- Experience supporting cybersecurity coordination, program management, or operations in DoD or enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with RMF, STIG compliance, CCRI readiness concepts, and evidence/documentation practices.
- Proficiency with ticketing systems, collaboration platforms, dashboards, and tracking tools.
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder liaison skills; ability to synthesize technical updates into clear status products.
- Desired:
- Prior experience working in SOC/CIRT/NOC coordination roles or supporting ARNG/DoD cybersecurity programs.
- Experience preparing operational reports for leadership, managing multi-center data calls, and supporting audit readiness.

- Dental insurance, Target Salary Range: $66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
