The Adobe Developer Platform provides a complete ecosystem for building custom applications that extend and enhance Adobe experiences. Enterprises rely on our platform to develop microservices and singlepage applications (SPAs) and seamlessly deploy them with builtin hosting.
Our Serverless Runtime team is reimagining how developers build on Adobe. We are advancing our FunctionasaService (FaaS) capabilities to simplify extensibility, improve performance, and scale usage across Adobe and external developers. Our mission is to make powerful, Adobeintegrated serverless experiences possible in minutes.
We operate a highavailability FaaS platform trusted for millions of executions every day, using a broad range of cloudnative technologies across Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, and distributed systems.

What You'll Do Drive innovation across our nextgeneration FaaS platform, with a strong focus on performance, scalability, reliability, and security. Provide technical leadership by designing solutions, shaping architecture, and improving engineering processes. Contribute to decisions involving feature design, technology choices, architecture, timelines, and testing strategy. Collaborate closely with teams across Adobe on shared technologies and platform integrations. Advocate for customer success-ensuring ease of use, high adoption, and an outstanding developer experience.
Requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills-essential for our globally distributed team. Deep expertise with cloudnative and container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS or Azure. Handson experience operating highavailability distributed systems. Ability to work effectively across teams, building strong technical partnerships. Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field.
Benefits & conditions
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $159,200 -- $301,600 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
In California, the pay range for this position is $208,300 - $301,600
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
