Job description
- Support the design new approaches to computing technology and find innovative uses for existing technology.
- Study and solve complex problems in computing for DOD systems.
- Perform various duties concerned with the application of, or research into, computer science methods and techniques to store, manipulate, transform or present information.
- Performs significant software engineering program management duties related to the System Engineering Process (SEP) which supports complex, often highly specialized, state-of-the-art hardware/software systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (Master's degree for senior position, or an additional 6 years of experience and Bachelor's degree may be substituted in lieu of Master's degree) in computer science, information systems, software engineering, or computer programming.
- Minimum years of experience as a computer scientist within the DoD environment:
- Junior: 3 years of experience
- Mid-level: 7 years of experience
- Senior: 10 years of experience
SECURITY CLEARANCE
- Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance required
