Job description

  • Support the design new approaches to computing technology and find innovative uses for existing technology.
  • Study and solve complex problems in computing for DOD systems.
  • Perform various duties concerned with the application of, or research into, computer science methods and techniques to store, manipulate, transform or present information.
  • Performs significant software engineering program management duties related to the System Engineering Process (SEP) which supports complex, often highly specialized, state-of-the-art hardware/software systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (Master's degree for senior position, or an additional 6 years of experience and Bachelor's degree may be substituted in lieu of Master's degree) in computer science, information systems, software engineering, or computer programming.
  • Minimum years of experience as a computer scientist within the DoD environment:
  • Junior: 3 years of experience
  • Mid-level: 7 years of experience
  • Senior: 10 years of experience

SECURITY CLEARANCE

  • Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance required
