Job description
- Establish and refine a comprehensive test methodology appropriate for detectors and printed circuit board assemblies, ensuring reliable manufacturing of radiation imaging detectors.
- Design, construct, and sustain both electrical and mechanical test fixtures.
- Innovate and standardize processes for automated testing to boost repeatability and efficiency.
- Formulate detailed procedures and conduct training for operators on various test equipment.
- Develop advanced hardware test diagnostics for PCBA's and Cadmium Zinc Telluride (CZT) detectors.
- Implement and oversee the verification process for test and measurement equipment to ensure strict compliance.
- Meticulously document and report on test setups, plans, and results to maintain transparency and enhance process improvement.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering is required.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a test engineering role, preferably within a similar industry.
- Demonstrated experience in enhancing PCBA's and radiation detector devices, leveraging data-driven tools for strategic decision-making.
- Proven leadership skills with a keen ability to drive product improvement initiatives within a collaborative team setting.
- Strong background in analytical, technical, and systematic problem-solving.
- Proficiency in employing methodical problem-solving techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to positively influence change and motivate others.
- Autonomous and proactive, with a penchant for driving change.
- Comfortable operating within an ISO 9001 framework.
- Capability to mentor and guide less experienced test engineers.
- Adept at working cross-functionally with operations, R&D, and engineering management teams.
