Job description

  • Design, test, and implement responsive web applications.
  • Collaborate with various teams for research, analysis, and architecture of business solutions.
  • Develop and maintain innovative, scalable solutions that provide value to the business and provide operational support as required.
  • Develop, design, code, debug and document high traffic web applications and services running from cloud platforms.
  • Design, write, and implement unit tests and end to end tests.
  • Provide input and guidance on development and architecture decisions; collaborate with other engineers.
  • Evaluate new technologies and determine viability per solution.
  • Analyze requirements and solution architecture and provide task specific estimates.
  • Mentor junior engineers with regards to coding practices and design decisions.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure high quality and consistent coding practices.
  • Participate in scrum team ceremonies in agile methodology, sprint planning, and backlog grooming.
  • Collaborate closely with other IT teams globally from Product Management, Architecture, DevOps, Quality Assurance (QA), and Infrastructure.
  • Ensure quality and performance standards are met across omnichannel customer experiences including kiosks, mobile, and web platforms.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline and 4 years of software engineering experience, building responsive web applications and Application Program Interfaces (APIs)., * 4 years of professional full stack development using NodeJs, Java, and Angular.

  • 4 years of experience with Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Delivery (CD) pipeline and tools like Jenkins, Sonarqube, etc.

  • 4 years of experience with developing software applications in at least one of the major Cloud platforms - Azure, GCP or AWS.

  • 4 years of experience in agile practices in Scrum teams.

  • Any amount of experience with Magnolia Content Management Systems (CMS) and Fastly Content Delivery Networks (CDN).

  • 4 years of experience with Yarn, Gradle, WebPack, and CSS.

  • Demonstrated knowledge* of:

  • Modern software architecture, microservices, micro-frontends, serverless applications and frameworks.

  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

  • Application security and knowledge of security best practices.

  • DevOps practices.

  • Omnichannel customer experiences across kiosks, mobile, and web platforms.

  • Knowledge may be demonstrated through education, training and/or experience.

All candidates must maintain possession of valid travel documents and the ability to travel in and out of the United States. This position requires the ability to work flexible hours and be available for emergency response on short notice. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test. Candidates must demonstrate coding skills in a work sample assessment.

Benefits & conditions

SALARY: $160,805- $180,006/year

TELEWORK: Position can be performed from anywhere in the US; 100% telework permitted
