Job description

We are seeking a motivated and service-oriented IT Support Technician to join our team in Mounds View. This role is ideal for an IT support technician who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a professional setting. The technician will provide front-line support for hardware, software, and network-related issues, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations for end-users., * Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues

  • Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment and applications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely and professional manner
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary
  • Communicate directly with end-users to understand and resolve technical concerns
  • Maintain accurate IT documentation and inventory records
  • Assist with employee training and provide guidance on IT best practices
  • Support data security and backup protocols

Requirements

Do you have experience in Technology security practices?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, * 3-5 years of experience in IT Support, help desk or technical support roles

  • Associate's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to juggle multiple tickets and priorities.
  • Basic knowledge of cybersecurity best practices (MFA, phishing prevention, patching, etc.).
  • Up to 30% travel required

Nice to have

  • CompTIA A+ and/or Network+
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator
  • ITIL Foundation
