In this critical role, you will be the overall program leader for a new product in the EPYC portfolio. You will work across all of engineering and business functions to deliver AMD's complex EPYC products meeting product objectives across but not limited to performance, features, schedule, cost and budget. You will be a trusted partner to Business Unit leaders and execution teams managing and driving technical and operational alignment of the product across Silicon, System and Software delivering a true solution. The partnership will include SoC and system architecture, SoC design, Platform, Firmware, Software, Product Operations and Quality. This role provides an excellent growth opportunity for high performing technically deep engineers who have a passion for operational discipline to expand their horizons. On any given day you will be working with Fellows and Corporate Fellows to set direction on your product and presenting to EVP and SVP levels on how your product is executing. People who have excelled in such a role have had accelerated career paths to Directors and Senior Directors. THE PERSON: You are a proven leader accustomed to a working with a cross functional team and managing in a matrixed environment. You can deal in ambiguity and guide the larger AMD organizations to execute in such an environment. You excel operating in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and changing requirements don't faze you. You possess exceptional communication skills and can synthesize details into an executive key takeaway. - Works across Engineering and Business teams to meet overall product objectives. Leads the program core team that is composed of:
- Architecture, Design, Supply Chain, platform, product, software, ecosystem, quality and business functions.
- Program-level decisions in concert with Business Teams
- Owns driving core team to consensus on technical decisions that impact bounding box.
- Delivering overall messaging of status/issues to key internal/ external stakeholders and customers.
- Tailors the roles of each core team member according to the needs of the program including defining cross functional ownership, and managing effective performance of the core team, and managing the membership to achieve program objectives,

Requirements
Do you have experience in Team motivation (leadership skill)?, * Relevant expertise in new product development from a design, platform, product and/or program management discipline
- Design of complex Server, Client CPUs or datacenter GPUs
- Strong understanding of the general silicon engineering process (preferably CPU or APU), from concept to tape-out to production
- Expertise driving a multi-site and multi-disciplined engineering program, BS or MS in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
