Job description
- Serve as a technical resource, addressing key challenges related to the performance of Zebra's
products and solutions in specific application scenarios.
- Implement testing and troubleshooting strategies.
- Analyze key test data to identify issues and propose potential solutions.
- Collaborates with more senior AEs, as well as sales, engineering, and product management
teams to identify and execute resolution.
- Provide analysis and input on how products/solutions can best meet or exceed customer/partner
business requirements, as well as on how they perform/compared to competitive options
- Provides input to the analysis of strategic customer projects to ensure that they are effectively
executed.
- With guidance from senior colleagues, engage in software design, hardware analysis, integration
work, and/or solution development for proof of concepts.
- Represent the product management organization as a technical customer/partner contact; often
assist with application deployments with the guidance of more senior colleagues
- For high priority opportunities, may be asked to assist sales team/partners with deployment
and/or testing on site at customer locations.
- May be asked to engage with product management colleagues to communicate market needs
and inform and influence some aspects of the product portfolio and roadmap
- May be asked to assist with the development of technical training and/or solution documentation
- Performs benchmarking to understand the competitive marketplace.
- Provides critical technical product feedback to engineering, sales, and product teams
Requirements
o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical engineering or in a related field is required
o 2+ years of experience working with advanced data capture and retail point of sale solutions.
o Knowledge of basic electrical engineering concepts like schematics, wiring, hand tools,etc.
o Knowledge of basic imaging concepts.
Preferred Requirements
o Knowledge of retail point of sale processes and environments
o Knowledge of - and experience with - coding languages like Windows, Linux, Python, etc

Salary: USD 110000.00 Yearly
Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
