Expert GIS Administrator

Provide advanced planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise GIS servers, network equipment, and geospatial applications supporting intelligence organizations. Automate workflows and manage OGC-compliant services and streaming/static geospatial data.

• Administer/deploy enterprise open-source and COTS GIS server platforms.
• Automate workflows using scripting and tool development; support analytic and data services.
• Manage OGC-compliant services and geospatial data discovery/exploitation workflows.
• Support static and dynamic/streaming geospatial data feeds and service performance.
• Provide technical documentation and briefings; support shifts/deployments as required.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum eight (8) years progressive GIS server experience.
• Expert proficiency deploying/administering open-source and COTS GIS server equipment.
• Strong scripting capability in Python; working knowledge of C# and Java.
• Expert knowledge of OGC-compliant geospatial applications/databases and data management.
• Strong written/oral communication and ability to brief technical content.

Required Security Clearance

• Active TS/SCI required prior to start; must maintain required accesses.
• Must obtain/maintain applicable DoD 8570.01 baseline certification (per role requirements).

Job Location

• North Carolina (NC), United States - on-site at Fort Bragg (Fort Liberty), NC and/or Fayetteville, NC as assigned; deployment support as required.

Physical Requirements Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. May include lifting weight up to 25 pounds as necessary.
