Job description

rWe are seeking an AI Powered Automation Architect to drive next generation automation capabilities using modern test automation frameworks, AI-assisted development tools, and in sprint automation practices. This role is critical to accelerating delivery, improving quality, and modernizing our automation strategy across cloud-native, API-driven, and microservices-based applications. \rThe ideal candidate will be strong in framework design, API automation, AI-enabled productivity tooling, and automation integration into CI/CD pipelines, regardless of the specific automation toolset (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, WebdriverIO)., r* Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks (e.g Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, WebdriverIO). \r* Leverage AI and MCP-based tools (Cursor AI, GitHub Copilot, OpenAI assistants) to accelerate automation development, debugging, and test optimization. \r* Implement and maintain in-sprint automation, working directly with developers and product teams to automate test cases within the same sprint. \r* Develop API automation for microservices, REST APIs and event-driven architectures (Kafka, SQS). \r* Integrate automated suites into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions; implement quality gates and automated smoke/regression tests. \r* Testing the full end to end behavior of AWS components to ensure all events, triggers, data flows, and integrations work as expected. \r* Apply modern automation practices such as contract testing, component testing, visual diff testing, and accessibility scans. \r* Participate in story grooming and design reviews to ensure testability and shift-left quality. \r* Produce clear test documentation, automation architecture diagrams, dashboards, and reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. \r* 5+ years of experience in automation engineering. \r* Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (TypeScript preferred). \r* Demonstrated experience using AI-powered development tools, MCP-based integrations, and intelligent test assistance platforms. \r* Deep understanding of in-sprint automation and Agile delivery practices. \r* Strong programming skills in TypeScript, Python, or Java. \r* Experience automating microservices, REST APIs, and cloud-native architectures. \r* CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps. \r* Experience testing distributed systems, queues, events, and serverless functions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in test execution & reporting, testing lifecycle processes and test tools like Rally, HP ALM, JIRA, IBM Rational suite etc. \r* Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment. \r* Should have experience in Agile and DevOps methodology. \r* Excellent Client Interfacing skills \r* Good Analytical and problem-solving skills \r* Understanding of one or more Estimation methodologies, Knowledge of Quality processes. \r
