Job description
- Develop and maintain tracking metrics for IDR cases, including volume trends, resolution outcomes, cost analysis, and financial impact.
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards and reporting tools that provide visibility into IDR program performance.
- Perform complex data queries using SQL and other tools to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple systems.
- Conduct root cause analysis on dispute resolution trends to identify patterns, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with technical teams to enhance data collection, storage, and retrieval processes and improve reporting capabilities.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance processes.
- Develop automated reporting solutions to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights for business leaders and stakeholders.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to help reduce dispute volumes, mitigate financial impact, and improve program outcomes.
- Present analysis and insights to leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with appeals and program teams to understand case details and align reporting with program goals and regulatory requirements.
- Support leadership decision-making through ad hoc analysis, strategic reporting, and performance insights.
- Maintain documentation for data sources, methodologies, and reporting processes.
- Manage project timelines and communicate progress, challenges, and risks effectively., 1. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 2-3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in healthcare or insurance environments.
- Strong SQL skills and experience performing complex data queries.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across multiple teams.
- Experience with additional analytical tools or languages such as Python, R, SAS, or Alteryx.
- Background in healthcare analytics, claims analysis, or dispute/appeals processes,
- Familiarity with healthcare finance and cost analysis methodologies.
