Job description
Develop scripts and analytics to generate novel insights in response to unique and evolving mission questions.
- Discover, aggregate, and integrate data from disparate sources into new and existing tools.
- Design and develop new user interfaces and data visualizations to improve customer understanding and decision-making.
- Elicit requirements and collect feedback directly from end users and mission stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other DAT teams and quality control groups to share expertise and elevate overall team performance.
- Design, implement, and support solutions across the full development lifecycle.
Requirements
Experience developing in Python, with an emphasis on data transformation and analytics.
- Experience building frontend web applications using JavaScript or TypeScript, preferably with React.
- Experience querying and developing in large-scale or big-data environments.
- Experience developing on and managing Linux servers.
- Experience using AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Experience with additional programming languages or frameworks such as Java, FastAPI, Angular, or Spring Boot.
- Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and big-data tools such as DuckDB, Polars, Pandas, or Spark., 12 years of relevant professional experience.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, or four (4) additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
