The cross-sell data analyst is responsible for identifying cross-sell opportunities within the producer's book across all business lines for the region by analyzing both internal and external data sources, such as the 5500 form. The analyst will provide data-driven insights to enhance cross-sell opportunities. Additionally, the individual will collaborate with the national teams for Commercial, Employee Benefits, Retirement & Private Wealth and Personal Lines, as well as with the regional cross-sell coordinator, to support producer engagement and cross-selling initiatives. This role reports to National Chief Cross-Sell Officer.
Success is measured by the ability to perform in-depth analysis using both internal and external data sources and communicate data-driven insights into cross-sell opportunities to producers and advisors., + Conduct in-depth analyses of producers' books to identify potential cross-sell leads and help build a pipeline of cross-selling opportunities.
- Utilize data mining and analytics/AI methods to generate key insights into prospects, such as gaps in services, excessive fees, benchmarks for improvements, elevated fiduciary exposure, financial health indicators, current broker/advisor capabilities, etc, to spot opportunities.
- Identify trends within the data and provide actionable insights and recommendations for producers.
- Generate reports in Power BI, Excel, and other tools based on collected data.
- Build and maintain relationships with producers, the regional cross-selling team, and other business stakeholders.
- Perform additional job-related duties as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with a major in Data Science, Statistics, Business, Finance, Economics, or Insurance preferred
- At least 5+ years of experience in the same or related role preferred
- Experience using Power BI and/or AI tool
- Ability to apply an investigative approach and facility with large data sets to uncover lead and cross-selling opportunities
- Ability to create standard and ad hoc reports
- Ability to derive insights and create recommendations
- Must be detail-oriented and possess strong listening skills
- Previous experience at a carrier or insurance broker preferred
- Strong communication, analytical, interpersonal, multi-tasking, and organizational skills required
- The preferred candidate is a team player with self-motivation, and the ability to meet critical deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment, Required Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience
