Job description
We are seeking a Cloud Automation Engineer to design, automate, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will use Terraform to build infrastructure, Ansible to configure applications, and Python to automate custom tasks. This role supports cloud migrations and integrates with a proprietary client platform that includes a React-based frontend. You will focus on building reliable, scalable, self-healing environments that eliminate manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Python
- Practical experience deploying and operating workloads on GCP (Cloud Run, GCE, GKE, networking, IAM)
- Ability to implement Infrastructure as Code and automate environment creation
- Experience building automated configuration pipelines and standardized deployments
- Strong debugging and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to design reliable, maintainable, and self-healing cloud systems
Good to Have
- Experience integrating cloud deployments with React-based platforms
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- Knowledge of DevOps/SRE best practices
- Cost optimization and cloud security automation experience
