Job description
Responsible for ensuring reliable, secure, and highly available backend platforms by managing hybrid infrastructure, observability, and incident response. Builds and operates automated CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native services while enforcing strong security and compliance standards
Your role
- Ensure platform reliability and operational excellence by monitoring service performance, participating in on call rotations, and leading root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines and automation for microservices, payment APIs, and backend wallet services. Implement and enforce strong security controls, including secrets management, identity access, code signing, and compliance with financial and security standards, in collaboration with InfoSec teams.
- Support and operate hybrid cloud and on prem infrastructure, including Kubernetes clusters, large scale distributed systems, and bare metal environments.
- Develop and maintain observability solutions using dashboards, alerts, and analytics to provide real time visibility into system health and performance.
- Collaborate cross functionally with engineering, QA, security, and platform architects to support global feature rollouts, governance, and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- 5-8+ years of experience in DevOps OR SRE Engineering roles.
- Strong proficiency with: Kubernetes, Docker, service mesh CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or equivalent) Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Go, Bash).
- Experience operating large-scale, distributed, low-latency systems.
- Deep understanding of networking fundamentals (TLS, ssl certificates, load balancing).
- Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging systems.
- Expertise in secure build pipelines, secrets management, and zero-trust architectures.
- Preferred Qualifications· Experience in payments, financial services, or regulated environments.· Familiarity with tokenization, NFC payment flows, or wallet provisioning systems.
Benefits & conditions
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $65,200-$169,000/Year

The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
