Job description

deciBel Research is seeking a mid-level Radar System Analyst to support Modeling & Simulation (M&S) analysis efforts for digital and hardware-in-the-loop radar system representations on an open systems architecture platform.

The successful candidate will work alongside other analysts and engineers to ensure M&S capabilities are implemented to meet system requirements, support development and test activities, and perform root-cause and deep-dive analysis of data anomalies.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Statistics?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or related discipline, * 7+ years' experience in technical data analysis on DoD programs.

  • Proficiency in Linux OS
  • Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python or Matlab
  • Strong deductive reasoning skills
  • Proficiency in performing root-cause analysis and ability to clearly communicate results with team members and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to generate clear, concise presentation of analysis results (customer charts vs engineering charts)
  • Understanding of basic statistics

Special Skills Desired:

  • Familiarity with DoD radars and/or C2BMC
  • General knowledge of radar systems
  • Experience working with Ground Test and Flight Test data
  • Experience with H5 file format
  • Experience with data reduction techniques
