Job description
Join a dynamic team as a System Engineer in a hybrid work setting in Warren. We are seeking a skilled professional to enhance and maintain our technological infrastructure through innovative automation and monitoring solutions. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation of our systems, supporting our growth and evolving needs. Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated solutions to streamline operations.
- Deploy and configure advanced automation tools such as RedHat AAP.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and optimize systems.
- Monitor and maintain infrastructure, applications, and APIs to ensure optimal performance using tools like Datadog.
- Provide technical training and support to enhance team capabilities.
Reporting Structure
- Report hierarchically to the Managing Director of Technology in Italy.
- Functionally report to the Infrastructure Team Leader.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in the information technology sector with a focus on security.
- Proficiency in Ansible, REST APIs, and Azure DevOps within CI/CD environments.
- Expertise in IaC templating, automated workflows, and provisioning.
- Experience with ServiceNow CMDB and monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog).
- Familiarity with job schedulers and SCM tools such as AAP, Rundeck, and Git.
- Strong knowledge of Jinja templating and scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Powershell.
- Proven experience in incident management and root cause analysis.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills in English.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud-based solutions (Azure) and Agile methodology.
- ITIL certification and practical experience in RHEL environments., * Possesses a positive and proactive attitude.
