Remote AI Data Engineer - INTL

Insight Global is seeking an AI Engineer with a strong data engineering foundation to build and productionize AI solutions end-to-end; from data ingestion and orchestration (Azure Data Factory) through transformation/compute (Azure Databricks) and into core AI/ML/GenAI services, with the ability to contribute to modern web applications (JavaScript / React / Next.js)

4+ years of related experience either as a Data Engineer and/or AI Engineer

• Strong Data Engineering background building production-grade pipelines and data products
• Azure Data Factory (ADF) experience for orchestration (pipelines, triggers, monitoring, failure handling)
• Azure Databricks experience
• Core AI/ML/GenAI engineering strength - ability to build, deploy, and support AI solutions in real environments (not just notebooks).
• Experience productionizing AI (turning POCs into secure, maintainable, scalable systems) and improving reliability/monitoring/supportability.
• Python proficiency for data + AI development (pipelines, APIs, model/LLM workflows).
• Front-end development experience or strong interest with JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one of: React.js / Next.js (or similar modern frameworks).
• Strong communication skills - able to partner with business + technical stakeholders and document solutions for handoff/support.
