Job description

The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for performing inspections and audits to ensure products meet company standards and customer specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to interpret prints and process sheets, and a commitment to safety, accuracy, and compliance. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing effectively to a team environment., * Perform inspections and audits of products, processes, and documentation to ensure compliance with company and customer requirements.

  • Read and interpret prints, quality check process sheets, and customer specifications to verify product conformity.

  • Accurately document inspection results and maintain detailed, organized records.

  • Identify nonconforming materials or processes and report findings to appropriate personnel.

  • Utilize basic math skills to perform measurements, calculations, and verifications.

  • Enter inspection and audit data into computer systems and generate reports as required.

  • Maintain a strong safety mindset and adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments.

  • Adapt to changing work priorities and schedules, including working under time pressures.

  • Maintain good attendance and punctuality.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one (1) year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Demonstrated attention to detail with strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with others.

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Basic math proficiency.

  • Ability to comply with all company and customer standard requirements.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Flexibility to adjust to changing workloads and work patterns.

Work Schedule

Four (4) ten-hour shifts per week. Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods. Ability to visually inspect products and documentation. Ability to lift and carry items as required by the position.
