Job description

CACI is seeking a Systems Engineer who will support the head of a mid-size to large program for the CACI organization. Establishes and implements strategies for the area of responsibility, with direct impact on the achievement of organizational results. Directly influences the overall vision/strategy for the Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) and Serial Cryptographic Products (SCP) NIWC Lant Modernization project, * * Responsible for communicating with parties external to the organization, which may include customers, teammates or vendors.

  • Responsible for advanced troubleshooting using a systems engineering approach. Problems faced are frequently complex and require broad-based solutions that impact multiple areas of the organization.
  • Responsible for improving upon entire processes or systems, leveraging on personal past experiences and in-depth understanding of best practices in the marketplace.
  • Project management support and technical services for the KMI and Cryptographic systems
  • Direct PM support, advise on C4I integration activities and technical services in command centers and aboard ships such as installation planning, scheduling, integration testing, system configuration, ship drawing compliance and developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for engineering processes.

Requirements

Required:

  • Active Top Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or other related technical field or Bachelor's degree in a business or management-related field.
  • Seven years of experience managing complex engineering projects associated with the design, development, integration, and test, preferably related to C4ISR or other complex systems.
  • Must have some network engineering/configuration knowledge and experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate and work with customers and team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Willingness to travel 25%

Desired:

  • Master's degree in engineering, computer science, Cyber Security or other related technical field, or active study towards this qualification.
  • Fifteen years of experience in a military environment performing engineering, integration, and test of C4ISR complex systems.
  • A strong knowledge of Key Management Infrastructure and Serial Cryptographic Product modernization initiatives.

The proposed salary range for this position is: $93,500 - $196,500
