Job description
As an Infrastructure Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation, driving strategic planning, implementation, and optimization of our organization's technical infrastructure. You'll collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure high-performing, secure, and scalable systems that advance business goals.
In this role, you will:
- Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals to support successful project delivery.
- Foster an environment that encourages innovation and collaboration.
- Design and implement infrastructure solutions-cloud and on-premises-that align with business requirements and industry best practices.
- Develop cost assessments, manage budgets, and optimize resource allocation.
- Collaborate with business and IT teams on the implementation and maintenance of IT systems and services.
- Implement appropriate security controls and measures to protect IT systems and data. Stay updated with emerging security threats and best practices.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and work with service providers to optimize IT services; ensuring high availability and reliability of IT systems.
- Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new infrastructure and cloud. Plan and implement data backup and disaster recovery procedures.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in IT infrastructure. Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of IT infrastructure design and management experience, with at least 5 years in leadership.
- In-depth technical expertise in IT Infrastructure including servers, storage, networking, cloud services, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and infrastructure management tools.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication skills with ability to translate technical information for varied audiences.
- Experience managing IT projects and coordinating cross-functional work. Strong organizational and time management skills
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, ITIL, CISSP, CCNP-DC, VCP-DCV, CDCP, or cloud certifications (Azure, AWS, Google)., * Advanced degree in a related field.
- Experience with specialized infrastructure software.
- Additional relevant certifications.
