Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering science, or related discipline and minimum of 14 years of system engineering experience is required. Five (5) years of additional SE related experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
- Active/current TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required
- Experience with designing network solutions using TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and IPv6/SRv6 (Segment Routing v6)
- Experience with designing network solutions using Ethernet Technology (10G, 100G)
- Experience with designing secure network solutions using IPSEC, MACSEC, VPNs
- Proficiency with Cisco IOS and JUNOS
- Proficiency coordinating with vendor on solution technical feasibility, in addition to escalation of network hardware, software and/or other configuration issues
- Experience developing technical business case for development activities
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to develop test plans and conduct testing of architectures as required
- Ability to perform Tier 3 sustainment as required
- Advanced vendor certification desirable (Cisco and /or Juniper) such as CCIE or CCNP or equivalent
