Job description

Oversee day-to-day information system security operations including hardware and software implementations.

  • Carry out technical administration of IS in accordance with internal LM and customer security requirements, primarily Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Upkeep, monitor, analyze, and respond to network and security events.
  • Document compliance actions within the approved automated compliance tracking system or develop a plan of actions and milestones (POA&M) with the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to address non-compliance in the allotted time frame.
  • Ensure systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with internal security policies and practices outlined in the security plan.
  • Balance competing priorities amongst multiple customers and programs.
  • Auditing is a large part of this role's responsibility.

Requirements

  • Final Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret.

  • DoD 8140 IAM Level II certification.

  • Information Systems auditing experience.

  • Knowledgeable of operating system security requirements.

  • Hands on experience with industry standard Information Assurance.

  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating system and network device security configurations. Desired Skills:

  • Experience with information system security auditing and investigations.

  • Hands-on experience with industry-standard cybersecurity tools (Splunk/Nessus//Antivirus software/SCAP/etc.).

  • Experience with developing, reviewing, and maintaining RMF security system plans and/or other artifacts

  • Mature communication skills and comfortable with leading coordination among many stakeholders.

  • Currently working in environment providing cybersecurity support to U.S. DoW or Intelligence Community (IC) customers.

  • Proven ability to obtain and maintain system authorizations-to-operate (ATO).

  • Prior experience hardening and managing security in large system environments with both physical and virtual components.

  • Experience implementing new and complex technologies at multiple classification levels within large system environments.

  • Experience with DLP configuration and deployments.

  • Experience with next generation firewall advanced configurations, including heuristic analysis.

  • Demonstrated experience managing complex workloads with multiple stakeholders, under general guidance

  • Knowledge of NIST Special Publications 800 Series (e.g., 800-53, 800-37, etc.) Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Top Secret, Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
