Job description

Job Description A leader in the health insurance space is actively hiring a Lead Integration Developer to join their Enterprise Integration Services team to drive the integration of optimized APIs in their backend systems. The team is responsible for developing Apigee API and IBM ACE solutions for data transformation needs of their key Enterprise Integration projects (i.e. CRM migrations, data interoperability, etc). As the Lead Developer you will run projects to ensure scalable, high-quality, and secure system connectivity. Key Responsibilities include: · Technical Strategy & Architecture: Designing, developing, and deploying APIs, data transformations, and workflows for hybrid cloud/on-premises environments. · Leadership & Mentorship: Overseeing team deliverables, providing technical guidance, and conducting code reviews. · System Integration: Mapping, designing, and testing interfaces between disparate systems, ensuring data integrity across the enterprise. · Governance &, Optimization: Setting best practices for development, security, and performance monitoring of integrations. · Stakeholder Collaboration: Working with business analysts and IT teams to translate requirements into technical specifications. Skills and Requirements · 7+ years of overall IT experience in integration and API development. · 5+ years using Apigee to design, secure, deploy and manage API proxies that connect backend systems · Experience using IBM ACE (App Connect Enterprise) for integration with enterprise systems · Proficient in ESQL, XML, XSLT, JSON, SOAP, REST, JavaScript and Java. · Solid understanding of API security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms. · Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins). · Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence. · Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills. · Experience in the healthcare domain · Experience with Ping Federate · Ability to configure and manage IBM ACE integration servers, bar files, and deployment processes.
