Senior Application Engineer- Remote US - GC/Citizens

We are hiring a Senior Application Engineer responsible for designing and building scalable, cloud-native web applications across frontend and backend systems, with strong focus on architecture, performance, and reliability., * Design and develop scalable frontend and backend applications

• Lead technical design and architecture decisions
• Build responsive UI using TypeScript and React
• Develop backend services using Node.js (NestJS) and/or Python
• Design APIs, service layers, and data models
• Implement real-time features using WebSockets or event-driven architecture
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and security
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers
• Collaborate with product, UX, and engineering teams

• Strong experience in TypeScript and modern JavaScript
• Strong frontend experience with React
• Backend development using Node.js (NestJS) and/or Python
• Experience in API design and microservices architecture
• Strong understanding of system design and architecture principles
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows

Good to Have

• Experience with AWS services (Lambda, ECS, API Gateway)
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of Terraform or infrastructure-as-code
