- Design and implement embedded software for manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and debug existing embedded systems in production environments.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software with new and existing hardware platforms.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for embedded systems and software.
- Perform root cause analysis for system failures and implement corrective actions.
- Optimize embedded code for performance, reliability, and resource utilization.

Requirements

- Proficiency in C/C++ programming for microcontrollers and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Hands-on experience with hardware debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters).
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, EtherCAT, PROFINET).
- Experience with sensor integration and motor control in manufacturing automation.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) beyond basic microcontroller use.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python) for test automation or data analysis.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles as applied to embedded systems.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot hardware/software integration issues in a manufacturing environment.
