Job description
- Design and implement firmware for manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and debug embedded systems in production environments.
- Develop and maintain software for real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate embedded systems with new products.
- Create and execute test plans for embedded software and hardware.
- Optimize embedded code for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Provide technical support for manufacturing test and assembly processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in embedded software development for manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in C/C++ for bare-metal and RTOS-based embedded systems.
- Strong understanding of microcontroller architectures (e.g., ARM Cortex-M) and peripheral interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN).
- Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, EtherCAT, PROFINET).
- Familiarity with hardware-software integration, debugging tools, and test equipment., * Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherCAT, PROFINET, Modbus TCP).
- Familiarity with functional safety standards (e.g., IEC 61508, ISO 13849).
