Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Architect specialized in AWS (Amazon Web Services) and Data Bricks to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your expertise in cloud architecture, virtualization, and data engineering to craft robust infrastructure that supports enterprise data analytics, machine learning, and application development initiatives. Join us to shape transformative cloud solutions that empower our organization to excel in a rapidly evolving digital landscape., * Develop comprehensive cloud architecture strategies utilizing AWS services such as S3, EC2, Lambda, and other native tools to optimize performance and cost-efficiency

  • Architect,Design and implement scalable data pipelines on Data Bricks platform integrating with cloud storage solutions like S3, Google Cloud Platform, or OpenStack-based environments
  • Lead solution architecture efforts for cloud infrastructure including virtualization technologies such as VMware, OpenStack, and Rackspace to ensure seamless deployment and management of virtualized environments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system design requirements for SaaS (Software as a Service), PaaS (Platform as a Service), IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service), and microservices architectures
  • Implement security best practices adhering to FedRAMP standards, managing VPNs, RESTful APIs, and secure web services integrations across multiple cloud providers
  • Architect deployment processes using Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, PowerShell, Bash scripting, and other DevOps tools to streamline continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines

Requirements

  • Proven experience Architecting & designing enterprise-scale cloud architectures utilizing AWS services along with Data Bricks for big data analytics and machine learning workloads
  • Strong background in virtualization technologies including VMware, OpenStack, Rackspace; familiarity with Citrix environments is a plus
  • Extensive knowledge of cloud computing concepts such as microservices architecture, containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, serverless computing with AWS Lambda
  • Hands-on experience with database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Server; proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL scripting
  • Demonstrated expertise in system design for high-availability applications using RESTful APIs and web services integration across diverse platforms
  • Familiarity with security frameworks including FedRAMP compliance standards; experience configuring VPNs and implementing secure access controls in multi-cloud environments
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components such as operating systems (Linux/Windows), virtualization platforms (VMware), network protocols (RESTful API), and scripting languages (PowerShell/Bash)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills combined with an energetic approach to innovation; ability to lead technical teams through complex project phases using Agile methodologies

Benefits & conditions

Pay: $80.00 - $95.00 per hour
