Job description

As an Intermediate UX Designer, you will:

  • Gather and analyse business requirements in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Conduct UX research using preferred methods and translate insights into actionable design solutions.
  • Create effective low-fidelity wireframes and prototypes to demonstrate design concepts.
  • Design reusable components and apply them in intuitive, visually appealing user interfaces.
  • Develop interactive high-fidelity prototypes for stakeholder feedback and user testing.
  • Apply accessibility and responsive design principles to ensure inclusive experiences.
  • Manage and contribute to design systems, ensuring consistency across projects.
  • Facilitate usability testing sessions, analyse results, and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Mentor and guide junior designers, supporting their growth and development.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in UI/UX design, business analysis, product management, or similar.

  • Proven track record supported by a strong portfolio of work.

  • Experience working in Agile methodology (preferred).

Education

  • Diploma or Short Course Certification in Design, UX/UI, or related field.

  • NQF Level 5 equivalent.

Technical Skills:

  • UI/UX application design.

  • Agile software development methodology.

  • Data analytics
