Principal Software Engineer (NY)

• Design and implement scalable applications using Python and FastAPI, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Lead the development and deployment of microservices on Kubernetes, optimizing for cloud environments such as AWS and GCP.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, enhancing user experience with React and TypeScript.
• Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
• Utilize best practices in cloud architecture to ensure robust and secure application infrastructure.

• 10-15 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on backend development.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with FastAPI for building RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployment.
• Familiarity with cloud services, specifically AWS and GCP, and a solid understanding of cloud architecture principles.
• Strong front-end development skills using React and TypeScript.

• Experience in AI or machine learning applications, contributing to innovative product development.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD pipelines to streamline development processes.
• Previous experience in a startup environment, adapting to fast-paced and dynamic work settings.
