The Senior Data Engineer will be a pivotal member of the Data Engineering team, responsible for managing the full data lifecycle. This role focuses on transforming raw data into reliable, high-quality datasets and models that support informed decision-making across the organization. The position bridges technical systems and business needs, ensuring data platforms are robust, accessible, and trustworthy. The role contributes significantly to maintaining data integrity, quality, and usability, enabling teams to leverage data effectively for strategic initiatives.
- Responsibilities:

Build and maintain business data pipelines

Transform telemetry data into structured, high-quality datasets

Collaborate with data scientists, product, and marketing teams to develop models and metrics

Monitor data quality using observability tools and participate in issue triage

Partner with engineers to improve data platform processes

Implement and enforce data governance and privacy policies across large-scale data systems
Requirements

Minimum 4 years of professional experience in data engineering

Proficiency in SQL and Python

Experience integrating AI into data engineering workflows

Skill in mapping complex business processes into extensible analytical data models

Strong software engineering fundamentals with modular, reusable, efficient code

Ability to independently manage projects and communicate effectively across distributed teams

Proficiency in one or more of the following areas:

Recommending and implementing new data collection methods

Using data to answer specific questions and guide decisions

Experience with cloud distributed systems (e.g., GCP), including distributed databases, message queues, batch or stream processing

Ensuring data reliability through orchestration, error handling, and idempotency
