Job description
Mission: To develop and establish quality assurance standards and measures for the Loyalty Team and helping the integrate new hotel brands into the Loyalty program. Day-to-Day: o Review business requirements, use cases, etc. to understand scope of deliverables being tested o Create test plans and scripts to ensure development deliverables match desired requirements and expectations o Create and communicate test progress, test results, and outstanding issues, tasks, etc. o Analyze test results to discover and report defects. o Work with business stakeholders to plan and execute UAT o Assist in testing setup and management in preparation for test execution o Assist with smoke testing during production deployments o Develop and establish quality assurance measures and testing standards for new development and enhancements, o manual QA o Zephyr o JIRA o confluence o postman o Kafka o API testing o SQL o UAT o agile o accessibility o testing
Requirements
o 3-5 years of hands-on manual QA experience supporting large application integrations or releases o Strong API testing experience (Postman - validating requests/responses, status codes, data) o Experience with Kafka (event-driven architecture, message validation) o Hands-on with Zephyr, Jira, and Confluence for test management and defect tracking o Accessibility testing experience (WCAG standards) o Ability to translate requirements into test cases and clearly document/report defects o Agile/Scrum experience o SQL Server experience (writing queries to validate data) o Strong communication skills working with business and technical teams Plusses: o Prior experience in the hospitality industry o Experience working with Loyalty programs
