- Deploy and configure software platforms in government environments, ensuring systems are operational and mission-ready.
- Build and enhance backend systems, data pipelines, and integrations utilizing Python, Java, JavaScript, SQL, and C++.
- Design and implement REST APIs, microservices, and distributed system components tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with government analysts to identify requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver rapid solutions.
- Manage systems integrations across complex federal IT environments, often involving legacy systems.
- Support data engineering initiatives, ensuring reliable ingestion and transformation of large datasets.
- Act as a technical liaison between engineering teams and government clients, translating operational needs into actionable tasks.
Requirements
- 1 to 6 years of hands-on experience in software engineering with proficiency in Python, Java, JavaScript, SQL, or C++.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and REST API design.
- Experience in client-facing or deployment-focused roles, demonstrating adaptability and effective communication skills.
- US Citizenship is required due to the nature of government contracts; candidates must be willing to obtain a security clearance.
Preferred
- Experience in defense technology, GovTech, or consulting, particularly with mission-oriented projects.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP) and CI/CD systems, as well as modern JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular.
