job summary: Build scalable, resilient, cloud-based systems aligned with our long-term strategy.
Provide outstanding support, including on-call support when necessary.
location: Durham, North Carolina job type: Contract salary: $81 - 82 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors
responsibilities:
- Bachelor's in computer science or related major with 5+ years of full-stack development experience.
- 3+ years expertise in Angular.
- 2+ years of experience developing REST API in Node JS
- 5+ years experience with Typescript, Core JavaScript, HTML 5, and CSS
- 3+ years experience in building, deploying and operating applications in the Cloud (AWS Serverless, EKS, KMS, Step Functions, Lambda, S3, Kubernetes).
- Experience in automation Jenkins pipelines, automated regression testing, continuous integration/deployment)
- Experience of consuming and designing RESTful APIs, and good knowledge of standard methodologies in API design.
- Experience of using node.js and a good understanding of npm packages.
- Participation in the design and architecture of full stack software solutions.
- Experience with DevOps CI/CD practices, TDD, knowledge of modern testing framework is a plus
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at a given time.
- Passionate and committed to learning new things and developing with the latest technologies and frameworks.
- Strong contributor with a work style in building, crafting and reviewing code.
- Assist with a variety of ongoing support and maintenance tasks.
- Guide junior developers in building their craft, and coaching standards and engineering best practices.
qualifications: Work with product management on requirements, decompose epics into stories, and deliver solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.
