Job description

We're hiring junior to mid-level Java developers preferably with both back-end and front-end experience. This individual will be supporting large enterprise applications within the Consumer Lending Loan Servicing line of business for a large financial institution. Candidates will be expected to interview and work on-site.

Requirements

1-3 years professional software engineering experience with Java (

  • Experience with Spring (Spring Boot) framework

  • Basic backend/microservices/API knowledge (CRUD, REST APIs)

  • SQL/database fundamentals

  • Familiarity using AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (able to clearly interpret and follow requirements)

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with Kafka

  • Front-end exposure (Angular or React) / full-stack capability

  • Containerization / Docker experience

  • Familiarity with CI/CD and source control (Git)

  • Experience migrating/apps modernization using AI-assisted tools

  • Side projects or demonstrable passion for software development
