Since its establishment in 1945, the Indiana Department of Veterans Affairs (IDVA) has remained focused on aiding and assisting Hoosier veterans and qualified family members or survivors, who are eligible for benefits or advantages provided by Indiana and the U.S. government. Role Overview: The ICC Communications & Technology Administrator is a key figure in the execution and success of the Indiana Community Challenge, providing essential organizational and administrative support. This role collaborates closely with the Communications Team and Suicide Prevention Coordinators. It directly reports to the Communications Consultant to advance the Indiana Department of Veterans Affairs' (IDVA) ICC suicide prevention initiatives. The administrator is responsible for tracking and reporting on data to demonstrate the impact of program efforts and ensure the seamless operation of the Indiana Community Challenge team. This role is essential for using print, web, and digital media tools to communicate with stakeholders, community leaders, IDVA, and the extended ICC team., Data Management and Reporting:
- Oversee meticulous data collection and management of digital progress logs.
- Ensure accurate and timely staff KPI reporting.
- Collect, analyze, and report data on program participation, outcomes, and impact.
- Prepare reports for IDVA leadership and stakeholders as requested.
- Oversee data reporting from community coalitions, nonprofit grant recipients, and team members.
- Develop and manage QR code journeys to engage partners and members of the veteran/military community.
- Create and manage campaigns for social media and email to promote initiatives and increase outreach.
- Track and manage the Military Family Research Institute (MFRI) Risk Index Tool, to maintain MFRI Logic Models and recommended next steps for community stakeholders.
- Maintain tailored toolkits for communities based on findings from the MFRI Risk Index to support local engagement and improvement efforts.
Resource Management:
- Identify, catalog, and organize statewide resources and community partners.
- Maintain information integrity within the IDVA Resource Portal.
- Manage a network of suicide prevention, crisis intervention, and postvention resources.
Training and Coordination Communications:
- Coordinate and manage ICC team training schedules.
- Facilitate communication between the IDVA and partner agencies through various channels.
- Act as the central hub for ICC team activities, managing the coalition meetings and event calendar.
- Exhibit strong organizational skills to enhance team effectiveness.
Website & Online Tools Maintenance:
- Maintain the Indiana Community Challenge section of the website, ensuring content is current and relevant.
- Support Training and Services efforts in the ICC priority groups by updating information and data for the County Veteran Service Officer website portal.
- Create, maintain, and update online forms used for data collection and partner engagement.
Program Development and Implementation:
- Develop data reporting systems for community coalitions and ICC staff.
- Implement feedback systems from community coalitions and stakeholders.
- Manage digital and electronic programs, including SMS journey building and Salesforce systems.
- Coordinate data collection with:
- Indiana National Guard's Integrated Primary Prevention Workforce.
- Indiana Family and Social Services/Department of Mental Health and Addiction.

Requirements

Experience with Salesforce management, including auditing, updating accounts, email program, and creating reports.

Experience with Tableau

Verbal communication skills with the ability to understand complex requests for systematic development.

Detail-oriented and proactive in data management.

Strong organizational skills and collaborative spirit.

Knowledge of digital systems for data cataloging and communication facilitation.
