Job description
- Java (Spring Data, JPA/Hibernate)
- Reactive data access (R2DBC)
- Google Cloud Spanner and Bigtable
- Apache Beam / Dataflow (streaming)
- CDC tools (Debezium, Striim, GoldenGate)
- Event-driven architecture (Pub/Sub or Kafka)
- Query optimization and performance tuning, * Design scalable data models and distributed architectures
- Build migration strategies from Oracle to Google Cloud Platform
- Optimize high-performance data access patterns
- Define consistency and transaction strategies
- Collaborate with engineering teams on APIs and contracts
- Establish governance and data quality frameworks
- Evaluate and prototype storage solutions
- Document architecture standards and decisions
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in data architecture and database design
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Strong expertise in relational and NoSQL databases
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and CAP theorem
- Strong SQL and data modeling skills
- Experience with database migration projects
- Knowledge of replication, partitioning, and consistency models, * Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform Spanner and Bigtable
- Oracle database administration and migration experience
- Real-time streaming and CDC technologies
- Data mesh and domain-driven design principles
