Job description
Looking for a Principal Systems Analyst to bridge Mainframe (COBOL) and Distributed/Microservices architectures within Brokerage systems. Role focuses on analyzing legacy logic and supporting modernization across Trade, Settlement, Tax, and Corporate Actions domains., * Analyze COBOL/Mainframe logic and convert into technical requirements & user stories
- Support modernization to distributed/microservices architecture
- Create test data, perform log analysis, and validate system behavior
- Work with DB2/Oracle for data mapping and validation
- Collaborate with Agile teams and write detailed Jira stories
- Ensure seamless integration via REST APIs and distributed systems
Requirements
- Strong Mainframe & COBOL analysis experience
- Solid SQL skills (DB2/Oracle)
- Experience with REST APIs & distributed architectures
- Knowledge of TDD and system debugging/log analysis
- Brokerage domain expertise (Trade, Settlement, Tax, Corporate Actions) preferred
