Net Developer

Insight Global is seeking a Senior .Net Developer to support a high-visibility equities technology platform within a large financial services environment. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing scalable backend applications using .NET/C#, Python, and messaging technologies such as TIBCO. The role involves working within an N-tier architecture, collaborating closely with trading, middle office, and operations teams, and supporting systems across the full trade lifecycle. The engineer will contribute to database development and optimization, participate in Agile development processes, and help drive best practices around code quality, performance, and system reliability in a fast-paced, enterprise setting.

7-15 years of professional software development experience Strong development skills in .NET with solid OOP fundamentals Experience with TIBCO or equivalent messaging systems Proven experience working in N-tier architectures Strong database knowledge with Sybase, SQL Server, and/or Oracle Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with database performance tuning and optimization Exposure to Test Driven Development (TDD) and/or BDD Knowledge of Equities, Stock Loan, or Securities Finance Understanding of the trade lifecycle (Trading, Middle Office, Settlements) Prior experience in large-scale financial services environments
