Job description

  • Lead end-to-end technical architecture for Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) B2C Commerce implementations.
  • Define scalable, secure, and high-performance commerce architectures aligned with business goals.
  • Drive integration strategy across key platforms, including Amplience CMS, inRiver PIM, payment gateways, tax services, and other third-party integrations.
  • Design and implement headless/composable commerce solutions (PWA Kit, APIs, microservices).
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership to development teams and guide implementation best practices.
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for client stakeholders (business and IT).
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions and architecture blueprints.
  • Ensure performance, SEO readiness, and scalability across storefronts.
  • Establish governance for code quality, CI/CD, and release management.
  • Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues.
  • Support estimation, planning, and delivery of large-scale commerce programs.
  • Regularly interact with client business and technical stakeholders.

Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Architect to lead the end-to-end technical architecture for Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) B2C Commerce implementations. The ideal candidate will define scalable, secure, and high-performance commerce architectures aligned with business goals, drive integration strategies, and provide hands-on technical leadership to development teams. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to deliver innovative and efficient solutions., * 8+ years of experience in eCommerce development and architecture.

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC B2C).
  • Strong expertise in SFCC architecture, pipelines/controllers, OCAPI/SCAPI, and integrations.
  • Proven experience with Amplience (headless CMS, Dynamic Content, APIs).
  • Experience with inRiver PIM integrations and data handling.
  • Experience with payment integrations, preferably Stripe (or equivalent gateways).
  • Experience integrating tax solutions such as Vertex, Avalara, or similar.
  • Strong experience in B2C eCommerce implementations with high traffic and transaction volumes.
  • Experience with headless architecture / PWA Kit / React-based storefronts.
  • Solid understanding of APIs, microservices, and integration patterns.
  • Strong knowledge of performance optimization, web, and SEO best practices.
  • Must have certification: Salesforce B2C Commerce Developer Certification.

Pay Range: $7$70-$75/hr.

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
