Develops high-fidelity and low-fidelity design artifacts such as user flows, low-fidelity wireframes, paper prototypes, functional prototypes and high-fidelity designs to express experience concepts. Ensures usability and accessibility considerations are at the forefront of digital product design decisions. Utilizes and contributes patterns to a digital Design System, considerate of brand alignment and consistency.

Leads user research, discovery and design thinking activities to drive a collective empathy and understanding of the needs, goals and motivations of target audiences and/or users of a digital product to influence prioritization and drive experimentation; documents findings via discovery-driven artifacts (journey maps, personas, heuristic analysis reports, etc.) to effectively express and track user needs, goals, motivations and pain-points.

Works collaboratively within and across cross-functional, agile teams inclusive of Product Managers, User Interface Developers, Content Strategists, Agile Delivery Managers and Business Partners and others to establish an audience-led perspective across all, contributing to organizational UX maturity.

Proposes, guides and executes appropriate testing and experiments (A/B Testing, Usability Testing, etc.) within the scope of the product or audience journey.

With the guidance of research advisors, helps drive collaborative user research and feedback activities (such as user interviews, audience surveys, etc.) to gain a deep understanding of user needs, goals and motivations to inform top-level Product objectives and goals.

Establishes strategic, user-centered metrics, KPIs and/or OKRs to discover opportunities and measure experiments around digital experiences; working knowledge of analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, etc.); ability to absorb qualitative and quantitative data to build compelling narratives that can influence and inform internal audiences.

Facilitate of effective and efficient user-centered design workshops to build empathy with user audiences, understand business objectives, identify user needs, and collaboratively ideate digital solutions and features with diverse groups.

Collaborates positively within a User Experience Design community across multiple departments; works to discover opportunities to dot connect with intentionality and a lens towards diversity in thinking, providing effective and valuable feedback on designs.
Requirements
- Requires a Bachelor's Degree and 3-5 years experience.
- Expert-level experience utilizing interface design tools (such as Figma, Sketch or Adobe XD) to create interface designs spanning from low-fidelity wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes.
- Experience with online collaboration and remote workshopping tools (such as FigJam, Mural or Miro).
- Solid understanding of Product UX techniques, methods and frameworks such as design thinking, Lean UX, Agile UX, Human-Centered design, among others.
- Experience working within an established design system, and knowledge of atomic design preferred.
- Experience utilizing usability testing and user analysis tools such as UserTesting.com, website behavior analysis tools such as HotJar or Lucky Orange.
- Experience crafting useful and relevant UX mapping artifacts such as customer journey maps, sitemaps, ecosystem maps, proto-personas or research-driven personas.
- Experience working within analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics.
- Knowledge of User Interface principles and Web accessibility standards.
- Working knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS and Javascript.
