Job description

Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Fullstack Engineer to join our large insurance client. This role will support a customer-facing website and internal portal used for policy management and claim initiation, with a strong emphasis on modern UI development. The engineer will work in an Agile team participating in daily stand-ups, two-week sprints, and monthly production releases. Approximately 75% of the role will focus on new feature development, with increasing emphasis on Azure-based applications, while 25% will involve production support for existing systems. Day to day, this individual will develop and enhance frontend functionality using Angular 17+, while also contributing to backend services built with .NET and C#. The role includes working with SQL Server and Cosmos DB, integrating frontend components with backend APIs, and supporting both legacy .NET/Oracle systems and newer, cloud-native solutions in Azure. The ideal engineer is comfortable working across the full stack

Requirements

values clean UI, and can help drive ongoing platform modernization. They should be self-motivated, have great communication skills, and can work independently., * 7+ years of professional experience as a Fullstack engineer

  • Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET (8+) in enterprise environments
  • Advanced frontend development experience using Angular (version 17+), with a strong UI/UX mindset
  • Solid database experience with Oracle, or strong experience with SQL Server plus willingness to transition and deepen Oracle skills
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
  • Hands-on development experience in Microsoft Azure
  • Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments with two-week sprints
  • Comfortable supporting both new feature development and production issues
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently in a distributed team, and great communication skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

  • Experience in the insurance domain, particularly policy or claims systems
  • Prior work supporting or modernizing legacy .NET applications while contributing to cloud-based development Exposure to Azure-based modernization or cloud migration initiatives
