Job description
As a Lead Quality Engineer, you will make an impact by leading end-to-end quality engineering delivery within Agile product teams (PODs) supporting large-scale retail eCommerce platforms. You will be a valued member of a cross-functional delivery team, working closely with product owners, developers, offshore quality engineers, and client stakeholders to deliver high-quality, reliable, and scalable digital solutions.
This role is ideal for a quality engineering leader who combines hands-on automation expertise, Agile delivery experience, and the ability to engage stakeholders on modern testing practices including AI and automation.
In this role, you will:
Lead all quality engineering deliverables for an Agile POD, ensuring timely and high-quality releases.
Ensure offshore quality engineers from multiple locations actively and effectively participate in all POD ceremonies.
Drive adherence to defined quality standards and ensure all QE deliverables meet or exceed expectations.
Manage testing constraints related to environments and test data, securing on-time sign-off for features or aligning stakeholders on release deferrals when needed.
Engage regularly with key stakeholders to advise on technology and testing best practices, including automation and AI-enabled quality approaches.
Own and drive end-to-end quality engineering across Agile Scrum delivery cycles.
Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts to support continuous integration and delivery.

Requirements
14+ years of proven experience driving end-to-end quality engineering in Agile POD or Scrum team environments.
Strong hands-on experience in test automation design and development using Selenium, Java, TestNG, and Cucumber (BDD).
Expertise in API testing and integrating automated tests within CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins.
Experience delivering high-quality releases in Agile Scrum delivery models.
Solid understanding of retail eCommerce platforms and digital commerce workflows.
Minimum 2+ years of experience using JIRA and XRAY for test management and defect tracking.
Ability to lead offshore QE teams and collaborate effectively across distributed delivery environments.

Strong stakeholder communication skills and confidence engaging with technology and business leaders.
Experience working in high-volume, customer-facing digital platforms.
Demonstrated leadership within quality engineering or test automation initiatives.
