What's in it for you: As part of Trane Technologies' IT Infrastructure organization, the IT Infrastructure Project Manager will lead people and deployments in support of New Site/Site Moves, IPT, Network Refresh and M&A projects in the Americas Region.
This position can be taken in any Trane Hub Office.
What you will do:
As a Project Manager, will play a crucial role in planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. Coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. Defining the project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle. This role requires a blend of strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Project Planning and Execution
- Assist in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate tasks and activities among team members to ensure project tasks are completed on time and within scope.
Monitor Project Progress
- Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Report and escalate issues to management as needed.
Communication
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, team members, and clients.
- Prepare and present regular project updates and status reports.
Risk Management
- Identify potential project risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and manage project risks and issues.
Documentation
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including meeting minutes, project plans, and status reports.
- Ensure all project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
What you will bring
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience
- 2-5 years of experience in project management or a related role.
Project Management Knowledge
- Proficient understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello).
Communication Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
Organizational Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Certifications (Optional but Preferred)
