Job description
People Incorporated Mental Health Services is seeking a Data Analyst to join our data team to help drive business insights and informed decision-making. This full-time hybrid position is responsible for identifying trends and developments in our data environments and presenting these findings and corrective recommendations to supervisors, senior management, and other interested parties., * Query and analyze data involving SQL queries, csv/excel exports, or existing business intelligence (BI) reports.
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards and recurring reports.
- Collect, clean, validate, and maintain datasets from internal and external sources.
- Identify data anomalies, inconsistencies, or quality issues and recommend remediation.
- Translate business questions into analytical approaches and solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, Quality, IT, etc.)
- Meet attendance and scheduling requirements as an essential function of the role.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business, Statistics, Economics, or related field (equivalent experience or bootcamp certification acceptable)
- 2 or more years experience demonstrating foundational knowledge in:
- SQL
- Excel / Google Sheets
- Data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
- Basic statistical analysis and analytical thinking
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Python or R
- Familiarity with concepts such as ETL, data warehouses, and APIs
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Dashboard or portfolio project examples (GitHub, Tableau Public, Kaggle)
- Understanding of A/B testing and/or business KPIs
